Hi, I’m Jim.  Pleased to meet you.

If you’ve read through the “Bet­ter” tabs above, then there’s not much more to tell about this web site itself.  I fol­lowed all of the qual­ity stand­ards men­tioned there in build­ing this site.

I hand-code all of my HTML and XHTML, and like most pro­fes­sion­als I prefer XHTML.  I use the free HTML-Kit edi­tor from Chami.com.  Every sin­gle let­ter of every sin­gle web page is typed by me at my key­board — never gen­er­ated using a WYSIWIG web page cre­a­tor like Adobe Dream­Wea­ver.  I’ve been hand-cod­ing web pages at least since 2002.

I have a Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence in Engi­neer­ing Phys­ics and have com­pleted all of the course work for a Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence in Com­pu­ter Infor­ma­tion Sci­ence.  My goal — finances per­mit­ting — is to one day earn a doc­tor­ate in Com­pu­ter Graph­ics Pro­gram­ming and do work for NASA.

I became a Chris­tian in 1995.  I brand myself a Fun­da­men­tal­ist Chris­tian because:

• I believe that the bible is his­tor­i­cally accu­rate (except­ing the book of 1 Mac­ca­bees).
• I believe that the bible is under­stood best when a lit­eral inter­pre­ta­tion is pre­ferred.  How­ever, a lit­eral inter­pre­ta­tion should not be applied when the bible indi­cates that it is not appro­pri­ate!
• I believe that the bible is the most impor­tant worldly (mate­rial) source of Chris­tian doc­trine avail­a­ble to us.

Now that I’m off my soap box, I hope that you will con­sider employ­ing Chris­tian Web Pro­gram­ming for your web site cre­a­tion needs.  In the mean­time, I’ll be work­ing on my on-going proj­ects, Bible Reviews and Bible Selector.  I hope that you find the infor­ma­tion there use­ful.
