W3C
Validated Standard
XHTML
or HTML
(your choice)
-
You’ll notice a W3C “sticker” at the
bottom left of every one of our web pages.
This does two things:
-
It allows anyone to verify that your web pages are
coded in accordance with industry standards.
-
It gives you a great deal of confidence that your web pages
will be viewable not only with every browser tested, but
also with every browser that is available and every browser
that will be available in the foreseeable
future.
-
For example, many non-standard web sites do not operate
correctly under Internet Explorer version 8, even in
“compatibility mode”.
This is usually because those sites are not
coded according to these standards.
Those sites have to be re-coded!
-
W3C
Validated Standard
CSS 2.1
-
Like with
XHTML and
HTML,
You’ll notice a W3C “sticker” at the
bottom right of every one of our web pages.
This provides the same benefits as those mentioned above.
-
WCAG 1.0 & 2.0
AAA-Validated Text Readability
-
What:
This is the industry standard for producing web page text
that can be read by the visually impaired.
The standard specifies things like text size, visibility of
the text color on the background color and paragraph
spacing.
-
How:
-
We use in-house developed software that allows us to
choose text and background colors and text sizes that
conform to the standard.
This software will soon be made available online so that
you can spend as much time as you like choosing a web
site color scheme that matches your vision!
-
We then make sure that every letter of each and every
finished web page complies with the WCAG standards using
a program designed for that purpose.
-
Typographer’s Conventions
-
Java, JavaScript, ASP, PHP & Perl
-
All of these are ways to make your web pages do things that
HTML,
XHTML
and CSS
alone cannot.
We are experienced in using all of these coding languages to
provide the functionality that you demand on your web
site.
Additional charges may apply.
-
You Own the Copyright!
-
That’s right.
Unlike almost all of our competitors, when your web site is
finished YOU will be the owner of the web
site code.
-
You will receive all of the web site files upon
completion of your web site.
-
Your name will appear as the copyright
owner at the bottom of each web page
(see example).
-
Best of all, you are not forced to rely on us
for maintaining and updating your web site.
The web site code is yours, to alter or have altered as
you see fit!
-
